SiteSeer Technologies Now Offering Free Healthcare Data

Posted by Lance Blick on Dec 27, 2019 5:30:00 AM

This healthcare data has two components: facilities and providers. SiteSeer offers updated layers of healthcare facilities, which include hospitals, clinics, veterinarians, and more, and providers, which include physicians, opticians, and more. Data is sourced from the National Plan and Provider Enumeration System, developed by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services.

Tom Kessler, chief information officer of SiteSeer Technologies, says that these new healthcare provider and facilities data layers will help healthcare companies and the property owners and brokers that serve them, make better decisions. “Site selection for health care is a growing part of our business," Kessler says. "We are committed to providing our users with access to high-quality data sources, whether that be through our expansive partner network or as freely available government sources.”

SiteSeer also offers a no-cost point of interest (POI) database to all SiteSeer users. One can display locations on the software’s map-based interface from dozens of categories including transportation hubs, government buildings, schools and universities, places of worship, major shopping centers, and now, healthcare facilities and providers.
