Growing retailers use SiteSeer software to evaluate markets and choose the right locations for their next store or site. That analysis involves defining a trade area, building a site screening scorecard using the retail chain’s key performance indicators, and running a model to analyze a geographic area a retailer is interested in.
This type of analysis uses a company’s internal data as well as any third-party data sources the retail chain chooses—like mobile phone (foot traffic) data, demographic data, planned construction data, and many other types. Now, SiteSeer users can integrate live commercial real estate listing data into their analysis.
We’ve partnered with Resimplifi, Inc., a data provider that provides nationwide commercial real estate listing data. Resimplifi data enables retailers, franchise companies, shopping center developers and brokers, and other businesses that use SiteSeer to step up their site selection analysis.
We sat down with Resimplifi’s Head of Sales, Matt Francis, to learn more about how this data can be useful when paired with the powerful SiteSeer platform:
Resimplifi started in 2015 as a transaction management tool to automate the sales and leasing process for commercial real estate brokers. We saw a need for a local CRE marketplace in our area of Columbia, South Carolina. In 2020, Resimplifi pivoted into the data space. We collect national commercial real estate listing data and have a database of approximately 200,000 active listings of property for sale or lease in about 11,000 markets. The database includes ~360,000 off-market listings as well.
Resimplifi data covers all CRE sectors, including retail, multi-family, office, industrial, hospital, hotel/hospitality, mixed use, and land.
We sync directly with the listing websites of national, regional and local commercial real estate brokerage companies across the country. We research and validate that listing data on a weekly basis to ensure it is comprehensive as well as accurate.
SiteSeer users are searching for the best sites to open their next stores or locations, and with the integration of Resimplifi data into the platform, they no longer have to do that analysis hypothetically. Now, a retailer or broker can run their analysis in SiteSeer and get actual real estate listings that meet their criteria. They can quickly see an available piece of land or vacant space in a shopping center and get all the information they need about it right in SiteSeer. That’s a significant time-saver for them and makes their jobs much more efficient.
Property description and listing details, the listing source, and broker contact information.
The biggest distinction is that we are a data company and not a marketplace. Our data isn’t crowdsourced from tens of thousands of brokers who take down and add listings all the time. So, unlike marketplaces where brokers pay to list their properties for sale or lease in order to get more visibility, Resimplifi collects that data right from the sources and updates it frequently.
